Alternative is to replace Java 7 with Java 6. This only affects Windows users.

Remember the gnutella network is people like you, sharing files between each other, it is not a website to download files from.

I have downloaded the pirated Limewire but it will not open without Java Runtime 6 or higher which I have installed. I still get prompted to download it , is there a fix for this ?

well it does but when I deactivated my virus software it downloaded. but I am having connection problem and the forums wont give me access for some reason.
