LimeWire Pirate Edition

LimeWire Pirate Edition is the answer to the shutdown of LimeWire back in 2010. Soon after its demise a secret team of developers brought LimeWire back to life with LimeWire Pirate Edition whereby “all dependencies on LimeWire LLC’s servers have been removed, all remote settings have been disabled, the Ask toolbar has been unbundled, and all features of LimeWire PRO have been activated for free.”

LimeWire Pirate Edition, just like the official version, runs on the Gnutella Network. It is open standard software running on an open protocol, free for the public to use. LimeWire allows you to share and download and type of movie, music file, game, picture, or TV show.

LimeWire features a personalized spam blocker to get rid of junk results.

LimeWire allows you to search for multiple files at the same time by using a tabbed feature below the search query box.

Other LimeWire Pirate Edition features include:

  • Turbo-charged downloads
  • Optimized search results
  • AVG Anti-Virus
  • Built-in torrent search
  • No toolbars, adware or spyware
  • No connection problems
  • Ease of use – just install, run, and search
