I have a question. I have successfully used dvd decrypter to pull the .vob files off the disk. I need to use one of the files on a powerpoint for class. the only problem i seem to be having is taking what the decrypter has pulled off and doing anything with it. I continuously get error codes. I am trying to get a clip of a scene to help demonstrate something for class. It is my understanding that MPEG and AVI files work wonderfully on Powerpoint, but i converted the files using anyvideo converter and still get error messages saying file cannot play. I need some walk through steps on how to get a clip onto powerpoint using the dvd decrypter! My process so far was to find the file i need convert it with anyvideo converter and then use it in windows movie maker to make the clip i needed and then it would be in the correct format for the Powerpoint presentation. any advice?
DVD Decrypter is a highly versatile VOB-ripping utility. The software takes advantage of both the DeCSS Plus and VobDec algorithms for looking up and decrypting the CSS encryption. DVD Decrypter is also multi-angle aware, and capable of removing the Macrovision scrambling key, as well as the region code during the ripping process.
DVD Decrypter can create backup disc images of the DVD-Video structure of DVDs. It can be used to image any DVD, but controversially it is especially useful for decrypting copy-protected movies. The program can also burn images to disc. CSS decrypting software (such as DVD Decrypter, AnyDVD, Smartripper, and DVD Shrink) allows a region-specific DVD to be copied as an all-region DVD. It also removes Macrovision, Content Scrambling System (CSS), region codes, and user operation prohibition.
In addition tu burning DVDs, DVD Decrypter also lets you burn BIN,CUE, and ISO files.
