I purchased Piolet Plus about two months ago. They sent me the activation key which worked for a few days. After I reformatted my hard drive I tried to reinstall the program following their intructions and it did not work. I kept getting lots of porn pop-ups as well as other kinds. I contcated the developer and I did not hear from them until two weeks later.
Once again I had to reformat my hard drive and to say the least I have been through the same hell again. I have contacted Pablo and the guys who processed my credit card SOFTWRAP and it has been 4 days now and NADA, NOTHING.
I warn those trying to buy this program to go for Limewire or Acquisition (for Mac) instead.
Pablo (Piolet) seems to be a ghost scammer.

I really like Piolet! It reminds me of the good old days when Napster was around. It has the same interface. I know most of you will give me crap for this, but I did pay the $20 for the ad free Piolet and I like it SOOO much! It's worth a shot. I just had to open a port on my router and Piolet works wonders! |

Piolet/Blubster/RockItNet are good softwares for download songs, but sucks all the RAM an CPU of the machine! And I hate adwares and the built-in browser! Other, RockItNet has a virus! |

Sometimes it takes a little while to connect to the network (a couple minutes), but usually it's fine. Very fast, nice interface, decent number of files, although could be bigger, and could use more people on the network. Only shares music, which I think is good, it does one thing, but does it very well. Very good overall. My favorite for music. |

I think this program rocks. I had super fast downloads, and found everything I wanted. I had to tweak my router a bit, wich took an hour or so, but at least I learned a lot about my router. One thing I don't like is Piolet ony has music files. Having movies, images and documents would make this program close to perfect. I like that it is anonymous too. |

I'm having trouble finding good points. Obviously I only wanted it for music (I use Shareaza for everything else) and this program failed primarily on content. It simply doesn't have the mp3s or oggs I'm looking for, aLthough it is good they strongly support oggs. The program eats 14 KB of RAM, has ad-ware, forces the installation of a "my-search" toolbar, only allows you to pick artist and title (no album or anything else) and has 1 seach window. I can't comment on the speed since I never bothered to dload anything. Needs severe work. |

Ok mates!, i just wont give a try this software. first off it says it will be configured to use port 20*** and 10*** but when you run it, it uses port 701 and start flooding the computer with requests to ports udp that slow down your computer to hell. it never get connected so and the slow down is so horrible that i cant even open folders on the computer (100% of cpu usage no matter what you do!)i just downloaded the software just because it was recommended in the Kazaa Lite site but i think now it is just advertisment!in a nutshell, IT SUCKS!try using Sharezaa, eMULE and Kazaa Lite(K++) |
