NTL drops warez newsgroup servers

UK Broadband corporation, NTL, has dropped warez newsgroups
such as alt.binaries.dvd for reposts, not for piracy (according to them). In addition, “requests to add new binary groups will not be accepted”.

Finnish Music Industry Wants Kindergartens to Pay for Singing

The finish music organization demands that kinder-gardens pay royalties for singing copyright-protected songs. It would seem that the sarcastic remarks about the possibility of the music companies charging us for just carrying a copyright-protected tune in the shower are beginning to appear as a reality.

K++ v2.03 (minor updates)
