Web-based app lets you set YouTube videos as music alarms, creating either a list of multiple alarm times or a single music alarm.
Everybody has a favorite YouTube video they like listening to, but usually not a favorite alarm clock sound. Online Music Alarm is a web-based application that lets you combine the two, turning your Favorite YouTube videos into your personal video alarms. In the past I’ve mentioned iSnooze, the desktop app that uses iTunes to turn your PC into an alarm clock, but is restricted by the depth of your music library. Online Music Alarm gives you access to vast music library that is constantly expanding!
The site, also available as a Chrome app, allows you to create a single alarm or a list of multiple alarms, affording you the opportunity to use it as a morning wake up call or as a personal secretary that can remind you of events throughout the course of a day – never be late again!
One you open the app, the current time will displayed in the center of the page. To create a music alarm enter a “song title” or a simple search query in the search box and select “Enter.” It will return a list of the most popular YouTube search results. Click “Select Song” on the video you want.
Next, enter a time you want it to play and click ”Set Alarm” to add the video alarm to “Your Alarm List.”
You can keep adding an unlimited number of video alarms to suit your daily needs.
When the alarm goes off it will play the video in the center of the page.
What do you think? What do you use as an alarm clock?
Stay tuned.
