The RIAA may have just met it's match when it comes to the law. When you have a Harvard law professor and his students in your crosshairs it may not be as easy a defeat as you think RIAA.

I honestly don't know what to think man... 1 million 50 fucking thousand dollars!? It sure would deter me if i was living in the US and If there was a chance these out of date courts actually permitted it to go ahead you'd become the RIAA's bitch for 1 and a quarter million... these people are ridiculous...US laws are all screwed up over there It's like Iran or Saudi Arabia except they rape you with money and let you go homeless or even starve to death... at least in Arabia you would have one hand left to eat with... The very idea that the RIAA think they can even ask for this much out of 1 individual is scary... and the courts need need to just kick them back into a state of reality.

Yeah it IS a very sad day when private firms like the RIAA can extort people for those large sums.

But I think THIS time it is a little different. They are going up against someone who also knows the law and has researched it extensively. We are talking about a harvard law professor after all.

So I don't see this as an easy win for the RIAA.

It's funny how the same people who think the RIAA/MPAA are evil continue to support and praise the so-called "artists" who refuse to stand up against these media cartels. Seriously folks there's only a handful of artists who have spoken up so far. When one of the ones who didn't gets in the news for support for a candidate or cause ...oh well they are a great humanitarian. They are still screwing you. Wake the fuck up!
