TiltShift is an Adobe Air app for Mac, Windows and Linux that gives offers a simple set of controls for quickly adding cool and amazing TiltShift effects to your photographs.
These days it’s hard for desktop computer users not to be jealous of the plethora of amazing photo apps available to mobile phone users. Apps like Instagram and Hipstamatic have made it easier than ever before to churn out beautiful pics from even the most mundane of surroundings.
Well, now there’s at least one awesome camera app that’s available to desktop computer users as well – TiltShift Generator.
Normally available only on the iPhone, TiltShift Generator is an Adobe Air app that lets you apply the now famous tilt-shift effect to any of your stored photo with just a few simple clicks of the mouse.
To get it running you need to do 2 things:
1. InstallĀ Adobe AIR.
2. InstallĀ TiltShift Generator.
Along with the tilt shift effect you can add vignetting, and adjust the color saturation, contrast, and brightness.

The only downside is that it’s an app made for mobile and web use obviously, and so it can be a bit sluggish with images greater than 1600px. Other than that it works like a charm, and it will make you want to go through you all your photos to pick out ones to test it out on.

Here’s a few of the pics I created using TiltShift Generator.
Have fun, and post links to any pics you create in the comments section below for myself and others to take a look at.
Stay tuned.
