Net Radio Fell Silent For a Day (part two)

Well, “Net radio to fall silent for a day” announced that hundreds of small online radio stations were planning to turn off their music streams on Wednesday, May 1, “to drum up opposition for a proposed royalty regime for Internet radio.” Well here’s a crop of links to follow up and the immediate outcome of the online protest:
