The extension will load the songs in the playlist and allow you to control them from within its browser icon. Pause, play, and skip from song to song or shuffle, stop, and loop the playlist.
With the Last.fm Free Music Player you can stream an artist and then perform other tasks, all the while able to pause and skip around from song to song as you see fit.
It’s not required, but you can also login with your Last.fm account to scrobble what you’ve listened to.
