This is why I believe government has to put conditions on the laws if they are going to have DRM enforcement laws. When companies came to them saying there needed to be more laws protecting the circumvention of copy protection they should of mandated that the entire industry had to decide on a encryption standard in the event that the standard changes they must offer a tool to convert the music to the new standard and that under the circumstances that a company goes bankrupt all copyright protection will be legal to circumvent. Finally make it so any artist wanting to distribute their music should have access to the protection and standard so all music pla<x>yers artist etc have fair competition. Sadly politicians only know what the media industry is telling them and are too stupid to research the issue.

I could have saved and/or made Wal-Mart a lot of money by telling them from day 1 that DRM would not work!
