The Bush administration has only encouraged the prolification of the lawsuits we see today. Obama on the other hand is pro-technology and I believe he would do more to protect the citizens of this country brought before this proposed kangaroo court. Also it looks like Specter a Republican helped draft this legislation so the Republicans aren't completely exonerated from this blatant corporatist crap.
