Finally!
A voice of reason and sanity from a man who KNOWS what he is talking about not playing the knee-jerk reaction game. The “industry” should listen very carefully to this man and follow his lead; rather than just screaming ‘rape’ every time they try something proven time and again to NOT WORK – THAT is the definition of insanity. He just MIGHT be onto something here.

One factor that undermines corporate reason is forgotten: the corporate instinct for Stalinist control. Even more fundamental than the profit motive is the desire for complete and total control over its clients. The bigger the corporation the more contempt it has for customers the less regard it has for democratic voice and law. The corporations abhor uncertainty so the [service provider < -> client] model doesn’t cut it .. the corporation’s struggle is to maintain the [master -> servant] model (with you-know-who as the master) where the master has complete control over the behavior of the servant.

Just because JosefStalin is a pig-ignorant uninformed nihlist when it comes to business and just because HE hasn’t heard of a particular individual does NOT invalidate that individual’s perspective or ideas.
