Hello,

I work as a system level programmer in Dubai , and pagemod proxies were the only ones which got through the Etisalat Filter.
I have tried all sorts of proxy servers like TOR etc but all get pretty slow and inaccessible moreover pagemod has support
for myspace bebo facebook orkut and video sites as well.
Even tough web proxies like pagemod proxies gets blocked eventually I get new ones just by sending a mail to
pagemod@gmail.com or by subscribing to their services.
Presently their new ones are:

whats the point of going to youtube and other websites if you can’t watch videos? The flash is disabled. I mean this is a good tool, but is there any way of watching the videos?

cmd tracert http://www.myspace.com then use the ip that is given and u will access the myspace page?

it won’t do you any good if your admin didn’t give you installation permission (like most school computers/library/etc)

here’s an idea–waste time on facebook/youtube/myspace at home instead of trying to acess them where you aren’t supposed to (and wasting tor resources meant for legitimate uses)

sigh.. did you guys even read the post?

the software is installed on your own pc.. not at the school.. all that’s needed at the school is a web browser.

I’ve just tried it it works fine =)

regardless of installation it’s still a)a waste of tor and b)a waste of school/library resources (using computers to waste time at school when you should be doing your homework)

No it doesn’t use Tor your using another PC as a proxy serverconnecting to the IP address of the PC that Psiphon’s installed on.

And what’s to say that some schools dont filter the Internet for sites deemed “provocative controversial or offensive?”
