it;s nice to have another blocklist on the net......but look closely. Their latest "Triad" update.....the very top of their read me/release notes with the ipfilter updates, they state the project will "END: January 5th if no donations are accepted.

First it was Methlabs who basically went down cause of no donations and a schmuck stole the domains.

Then they split their staff between phoenixlabs and bluetack - phoenixlabs primarily doing support for peerguardian - and some IP research. Bluetack primariy doing all the IP research and blocklist releases.

So, bluetack goes down due to no donations.

Then some of the clowns behind bluetack.co.uk "release" this "side project" to dis-associate themselves from bluetack - as this "Nexus" group.,.,.and here they are, asking for donations or doing the whole guilt trip, pay or we close.

Same attitude as Bluetack.

I don't know, it just seems odd....these "side projects" keep sprouting all over, everyone tries making their own blocklist, and then cries for money to compensate for their "research"......really...?

I mean, really, At least, the nexus guys have "1 uped" all previous blocklist providers.....they've gotten SMART and gone with the big dogs over at SOURCE FORGE to do their blocklist hosting....

Last I checked, it's "free" to host a "project" on sourceforge....so I highly doubt they are paying anything for the blocklist downloads...? Since they aren't using anyone's "personal" hosting service as bluetack.co.uk and methlabs.org were.....

The issue of false positives is a big issue with Bluetack. I'm glad they are trying to address it with this new blocklist.
