Google+ Now Available for iPad, iPod Touch

Now users can enjoy the Google+ social networking platform on the iPad and iTouch.

Google is slowly pushing out apps for its new Google+ social networking platform. Already available for the iPhone, and Android of course, a new version now avilable in Apple’s iTunes store now supports the iPad and iPod touch.

“Google+ for mobile makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler,” reads the apps description in iTunes. “Huddle lets you send super-fast messages to the people you care about most. And no matter where you are, the stream lets you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they’re checking in.”

The only downside of the app is that it’s not a maximized iPad version. It doesn’t support landscape view, and all it really is is a close-up of the earlier iPhone app version.

So for those who use Google+ it’s better than nothing at all, but it’ll be nice when Google finally releases a true iPad version.

Stay tuned.
