The BitTorrent Client for MAC gets upgraded, now supports IP blocking using the Bluetack level 1 list.

Transmission has just been updated to version 1.20 and includes some nice new upgrades and features.

Transmission runs natively on MAC OS X, seamlessly configuring your network, banning peers who send corrupted data intelligently, using protocol encryption and built in Peer Exchange. Everything is done in the background while users needn’t worry about manipulating settings.

It even adds more features like the fact that the display of decimal numbers matches system international settings and updated Dock badge images.

The best upgrade is that it now supports IP blocking
using the Bluetack Level1 blocklist so users won’t need to run programs like PeerGuardian separately.

Whether you want to queue your torrents for maximum performance or throttle their speed during peak periods, Transmission lets you do both; it also allows you to ration bandwidth efficiently.
