Lets you download content via BitTorrent and Youtube and convert to MPEG-4, FLV, or MPEG-2 format for viewing on a PSP, iPod, Wii, or TV.

For all you BitTorrent fans out there a new box is on the market( somewhere ) that may be your holy grail. The Planex DigiJuke NAS device will allow you to specify what content you are interested in and it will use its built-in browser to find the torrents and start downloading them. This is basically like having Tivo, but instead of just being able to grab only what your cable provider gives you, now you can have anything that has been uploaded on the web.

With the built in 1TB of storage it will allow you to store quite a few movies before you need to offload to a backup device. One of the DigiJukes big selling points is that it can automatically format your newly downloaded content for a bevy of devices from PSPs to iPods to just your standard TV.

It’s browser will search for and tag the "…BitTorrent and YouTube content you want downloaded in the appropriate PSP and iPod (MPEG-4), Wii (FLV), or TV (MPEG-2) format for in-home or on-the-go viewing," writes engadget. "The NAS also streams audio and video to your iTunes laptops or desktops, DLNA TV, Xbox 360, or other compliant device in the home."

On top of the BitTorrent HDD aspect of the DigiJuke, it can also act as your standard NAS device serving up files and media to all of your devices. It comes with the standard USB ports so you can attach extra storage or just so you can pop in an extra hard drive to watch some of your friends content.

The main site is in Japanese and the translation page doesn’t reveal much so I don’t don’t have all the info on this device. It does say that it will retail for around $524 and come with a pair of 3.5-inch 500GB HDDs. It also isn’t clear if it’ll ever makes it way to the US so as usual the japanese are the first ones to get all the cool gadgets.
