BBC America Shows Now Available on iTunes

Starting today, customers can purchase single episodes and complete seasons of Torchwood, Little Britain, and Robin Hood.

The BBC has announced that BBC America programming will now be available for purchase and download from Apple's iTunes Store in the US. Starting today on iTunes, customers can so far purchase single episodes and complete seasons of BBC America's Torchwood, Little Britain, and Robin Hood. So far it's unclear what or when additional programming will be made available.

"BBC is delighted to provide U.S. audiences with the unique ability to purchase and download select award-winning BBC America programming on the iTunes Store," said Beth Clearfield, Vice President of Digital Media and Business Development, BBC Worldwide America. "As the first U.K. broadcaster available in the US, BBC is leveraging its trusted international brand in entertainment to provide our audiences with a first-rate digital experience."

It'll cost $1.99 per episode with no specifics mentioned thus far for the purchase of complete seasons.
