WebSharing Android App – Transfer, Stream Files on the Go

WebSharing app lets you wirelessly transfer files to and from your phone/device using a web browser.

I’ve been asked to review some Android apps for transferring files between your Android phone and PC, and WebSharing is the first app I’d recommend.

WebSharing allows you to transfer files to your phone using Wi-Fi and your web browser.

“You can play and manage music, view your photographs, and manage files on your device using your WI-FI network,” notes the developer. “It additionally features the ability to browse/manage your phone as a WebDAV share.”

It’s fairly easy to configure, and is as simple as logging into your PC’s IP address. You then have the ability to browse your files in icon and list views, and to delete, rename, move, and copy folders and files. Multiple files may be selected and downloaded at the same time as a .zip file.

You can also stream content like music, videos, or simply browse photos.

Now keep in mind the “Lite” version supports transferring files, but you’ll need to shell out $2.99 for the full version for the music, photos, videos, and multiple file upload features (or you can always download a copy from Demonoid)
