College basketball fans get treated to free LIVE video streaming of this season’s tournament games courtesy of CBS Sports TV.

It’s that time of year again as the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship begins to rev up and college hoops fans across the country begin rooting for their favorite team. Held each Spring, the tourney features the “top” 65 college basketball teams from throughout the United States.

Also referred to as “March Madness,” as the tournament takes place mainly during the month of March, or the “Big Dance,” the tournament takes place over 3 weeks and culminates in a national title for the victor.

Normally fans have to seek out a variety of methods with which to which each of the 63 games that take place over the course of the tournament. This season however, college basketball fans have a nice alternative courtesy of CBS Sports TV.

NCAA March Madness On-demand allows allows you to watch LIVE game broadcasts of CBS Sports television coverage of the NCAA Championship on your computer for FREE!

There’s no additional software to download or install, just click and play – it’s that easy! Now there’s no excuse for missing any of this year’s games.

By the way it’s a long shot, but nonetheless I have to give a shout out to the University of San Diego, my alma mater who’s made the tourney this year for the first time since 2003. Even though I admit I had to play the odds for my bracket picks and go with UCONN it’d still be nice to see an upset and see my Toreros come up with a first round victory even if it cost me a few points in the end.

My buddy Cowles also made me look bad by picking USD despite the projections. Oh well, we’ll just have to see how it plays out.

UPDATE: Nice win by USD in OT over UCONN. First ever NCAA basketball tourney win by a San Diego team, still can’t believe it. W00t!
