I am sure the already US hating contries would love for the US to step in and try to take complete control over the internet. Personally I beleive the internet cannot be effectively controlled. I for one would much rather have industries adapt to the change in technology and have the filtering happen on a individual level. If a copyright work is uploaded to a site then the copyright holder should be the one stepping in to get the content removed and not the government. Governments especially the US government have enough power. We the people dont need to give them more control over something that I am sure most of the people in the government dont know much about. @ open universe
