Corbin Fisher offers a limited time amnesty program for illegal downloaders that expires February 8th.
Feeling guilty about having illegally downloaded gay adult material? Well, you’re in luck. Corbin Fisher, the San Diego-based gay adult film studio and distributor, is generously offering a limited time amnesty program that expires next Tuesday, February 8th.
“Despite the fact that these people are stealing from us, we wanted to give them a chance to admit their mistakes and move on,” said Brian Dunlap, Corbin Fisher’s COO. “Therefore, we are offering this limited period where we will resolve these cases quickly and cheaply.”
By cheaply he means a one-time payment of $1,000 for which Corbin Fisher agrees to drop all copyright infringement claims.
Aside from not having to face its legal wrath, those that do settle are also treated to a year’s membership at its AmateurCollegeMen.com and AmateurCollegeSex.com.
Those that refuse are reminded that they face statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringement.
“A list of thousands of torrent users has already been provided to Corbin Fisher by an independent research group, and all of these users will be targeted in the first wave of lawsuits to be filed in February,” tit says. “Anyone who has shared Corbin Fisher content via a torrent site is encouraged to contact the company immediately.”
What do you think? Would you confess or hold out?
Stay tuned.
