Will Smith’s Sci-Fi blockbuster is an early Xmas present for file-sharing fanatics this year.
Every P2P user worth his weight in salt knows that this time of year is a very special one as screener copies of movies wanting Oscar consideration make their way to P2P and file-sharing networks everywhere.
Some of the more recent titles to be leaked to BitTorrent include: “Day Zero,” “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead,” and “Moving McAllister.”
But, none of these compare to much anticipated Warner Bros. tale “I Am Legend,” which stars Will Smith as a plague survivor who may be the last living human on Earth.
In its first weekend it raked in some $76.5 million, making it the biggest December opening ever and a personal best for one of Hollywood’s top box-office champs.
Based on the Richard Matheson novel filmed twice before as Vincent Price’s “The Last Man on Earth” and Charlton Heston’s “The Omega Man,” “I Am Legend” casts Smith as a scientist trying to find a cure and fighting off the vestiges of humanity, people transformed by the plague into vampire-like creatures.
I already had the pleasure of seeing this film at a friends house (though the CAM release was tough to sit through), but was still happy to see it debut on BitTorrent this afternoon.
Overall the movie is pretty darn good. I’ve always been a big fan of apocalyptic movies like “The Omega Man,” “28 Days Later,” and the “Mad Max” series of course. “I Am Legend” is definitely for people who like this genre, if “apocalyptic” can be called that, and certainly lives up to all the hype.

Guy guys guys! Learn to fix the video yourself its no big deal. http://forum.videohelp.com/topic230015.html Grab VirtualDub chop off the movie into two parts the part that in sync and the part thats out. Load the bad half into virtualdub save the wave file and either add or sub miliseconds from the stream. I suggest to save a few small samples until you get the sync perfect. Then use virtual dub to “append segemnts” (under “file”) and your movie is fixed.
Now post the video to help the helpless when youre finished.
