UC Berkeley Begins Posting Full Course Lectures on YouTube

From Biology to Physics, from Chemistry to Electrical Engineering, we all can now get a quick and easy fix to satisfy that innate curiosity in us all.

Many colleges and universities have been posting lectures online for some time now, UB Berkeley already being one of them, but uploading them to YouTube has long been virgin territory.

I’m not sure if it’s because they feared putting educational content alongside guys kicking each other in the crotch or that creepy “guy” who cried his heart out over Britney Spears. It may just be that the medium was previously considered undignified or unmanageable.

Either way, it’s nice to see that a university of Berkeley’s caliber has decided to put material of such a redeeming value onto a site like YouTube. Imagine if all the high school and middle school kids in this country who regularly use the site decided to watched just one video that piqued their interest.

I’ve posted a few of the videos that can be found on its YouTube channel down below, and to find more click on the image that follows.

Integrative Biology 13: General Human Anatomy – Skeletal System

Electrical Engineering 213: Soft X-Rays and Extreme Ultraviolet Radiation

Physics 10: Gravity and Satellites II

    Hmmm I should keep an eye on these video’s see if they increase in numbers and topics. It would be nice if I had a bad prof and wanted a different explanation.

    i dont see how this pertains to p2p.

    unless the university is being sued or is suing over copyrights or they are using a p2p application.

    Zeropaid is more then just Filesharing they cover allot of copyright related news. This is a clear demonstration at how copyright can be given away for free in this case for the better good of the people. If good information is freely accessible more people can educate themselves whether it be credited or not. So yes it doesn’t pertain to p2p but it does pertain to Zeropaid.

    @ejonesss
    Yah sometimes I will cover something cool if it pertains to technology free flow of info from PERSON to PERSON (P2P)

    Thanks Mountain….how dope is this BTW? Got sucked into the lecture about the skeletal system last night.
