P2P can pose a threat? HAHAHA! Give me a break! Yet another scape goat! The internet itself poses a threat! Hmmm.. P2P file sharing also should equal the uses of file transfers through: Email Yahoo Messenger MSN Messenger AIM Messeger etc. All of which files can be transfered from one person to another!

Very simple: the default setting should be a new empty folder to which the user has to manually add files that s/he wants to share. I always make a new empty folder for this purpose whenever I start using a new file sharing program. I also have the downloads go to that folder. And the folder in question is on an external hard drive which I remove from the system if I am going to be away for a while. All it takes is common sense. Do we blame the phone company if "sensitive" material is leaked over it? By the way if government documents are floating around file sharing networks doesn't that mean that government employees are file sharing? Hmmmm.

Umm exactly. Of course they point the finger at filesharing. OF COURSE. They must understand that in the entire internet that files can be swapped modified viewed ect. If you say P2P will pose a threat you're saying the whole internet can as well. Im sorry but if someone gets their hands on grubby information they're not just gonna post it on a P2P. Nice try onece again. Just about anyone who works for the government or doesnt agree with illegal file swapping will try to find any reason for it to be shut down. Whats next they blame e-mail?

So why aren't they concerned with the trillions of people who have financial data leaked through data processing centers - yearly? Those number far outstrip anything P2P networks have to offer. I am in far less control of that.
