So, why isn't media defender being sued for illegal file sharing then? So, if I made the same site, so long as I say it's for internal(private) use only, (even if accessible from the public and other people download from it) I wont be legally responsible? I don't think it would go that way.... Unless the MPAA brings charges against MediaDefender for illegal file sharing of copyrighted material, then their negligence will prove their relationship with MediaDefender.

"Yep that's right MediaDefender calls it an "...internal project that involved video" and "had nothing to do with anti-piracy."

Ummmm.....Okay...and is this the part where they tell me the moon is made of green cheese and expect me to believe it? What do they think they are doing? It is not as if people are fools.

They knew good and well what that site was about but my guess is it got them in some hot water so now they deny it. Like I said earlier...I think their lawyers made them realize just exactly how much hot water they could get themselves in if they ever tried to take the info collected on that site to court!

It is called ENTRAPMENT and happens to be against the law!

@meyou123
I think MediaDefender deserves a nice letter from the MPAA and "anything else would be uncivilized."
