You mean if I have an "internal" network in my house I can't share my music with my wife and kids who also have computers on my "network"? If I have five employees who "share" within the company (nothing sent outside) then I am breaking the law? Is this true in the United States too? What a load of crap! How did we ever let it get this far? It seems to me that what goes on in a company's internal network is nobody's business at least in a free society which we don't appear to have anymore. And what about that employee who snitched? What a slimy little rat! How much is he being paid off by the recording industry? In short this is disgusting. Fuck the record companies. More and more artists are going independent (hooray for Prince who's next album will be on line for free!) The only ones who make big bucks on albums are the recording companies. Artists need to realize that YOU DON'T NEED THE FUCKING RECORD COMPANIES ANY MORE. Put your music on line and get your money from concerts and merchandise. CD's are obsolete. It costs pennies to make an MP3. The consumer does all the work downloading and burning (or just putting it on an Ipod). The physical product--which the recording industries specialized in--is no longer needed. Artists: let your contracts expire. Don't sign any more. Fuck the record companies before they take all of our rights away.
