Should any of us really be surprised by this fact? Our government has been crumbling under the slightest pressure on issues that either big business or the U.S. gov’t have an interest in. I called the consultation a joke from day 1. The Canadian government did this to let the people think that the citizens opinions matter, smoke and mirrors people, smoke and mirrors.

Web copying is rampant. How can the Canadian government deal with the multinational nature of copyright infringement using laws designed to stop people from republishing a book?
