I think the odds stack up pretty nicely that it's a intellectual copyright concern(take your pick) to be blamed for the attack, especially after recent attempts by some to link The Pirate Bay to right-wing extremist groups field miserably. Now why people would want to create an account with a PUBLIC BitTorrent tracker site is beyond me but, people certainly didn't expect this to happen I'm sure. Luckily enough they were encrypted, "very" in fact, according to Brokep. He recommends that users change their passwords as soon as possible, and that if people use the same password at other BitTorrent tracker sites that they be changed as well.
