I have hated how Flash has gotten really poor since Adobe took over. (Upgrade issues anyone?) If Adobe spent half the time on R&D into this as they have their own software piracy countermeasures (Which have rendered valid copies unusable at some of the most inopportune times.) Flash might actually be worthy of carrying on into the 21st century. Adobe has always put their core Mac platform first, and Windows users have always had to deal with the fallout.

Please, someone buy their IP and remove the activation system and put the developers into making progress instead of protection.

When great products fall into the hands of fools, we as a society are set back decades. Look at AoL and what they did to ICQ. It was the most robust IM of it's day back in 1998, and since AoL took it over no one uses it. (Partially due to security flaws that allowed your account to get hacked with a "Too bad, so sad" attitude from AoL. ) It's 2009, and I still can't simply drag and drop a folder to someone on my contact list, and I used to do this daily on ICQ 11 years ago.

Mismanaged IP will devolve us all.
