If your voting system itself is f*cked (2 party system where the least evil guy is STILL evil) then perhaps what is needed is government reform or open source government.

Have things online like:
voting issues yourself (instead of voting someone in who votes "for" you). Look if they are playing hardball then citizens of the respective countries should do the same. Its no longer money, its votes!

Votable dollars of taxes YOU pay.Say 20% paid by you, you can go online and choose WHERE they should be spent, have kids? education and health care, need good roads? dump your portion there. Things like this would really allow citiens voices to be heard. Compare your vote, socitys vote and the MPs votes all on one website.

Its obvious that our wonderful system has FAILED US when things like this go on. What did the Pirate/fair use people do when they sued Pirate Bay? They formed a politica

l party to change the laws. Now thats good and all but I believe the system itself (world round) needs reform on THIS level (full disclosure parties, open source parties).

More young people need to step up into the hellish levels of politics!

What a crock!/Crook! nICE HOW THE HAVES TRY AND SQUASH THE HAVE NOTS.

haha caps. anyways rulings like this will force the p2p community to push towards encryption (so less power for the local govt knowing what their citizens are up to, bad on the whole as SOME surveillance is needed within society.

If no one respects the law(s) as they are no longer in favour of the majority of citizens (sueing students, printers, and grandmas aren't good for our society) then the laws must be reformed, repealled (if already snuck in w/o voter consent but rather bought /w bribes and corruption of the state).

I hope they DO piss off enough people that either everyone evolves by downloading some small ap to mask their p2p traffic OR they just boot out the MP/politician that's crooked and get someone "for the people".

Shame on political "leaders" around the globe for falling for such nonesense/taking the bribes

An American telling an unelected politician how to run the UK.

Democracy in action!

Dave Geffen is worth over $4bn. Don't tell me the industry is going under because "there is no money for the artists".

Off with my dd-wrt router and laptop to Mandelson's house. Think I will crack his wifi i think he needs to torrent Adobe Master Collection, Microsoft Office and some Michael Jackson tunes.
Followed by a quick complaint to BT, then we don't have to worry about Mandy in the interwebs.
