If you know how to install OpenVPN, you can always try anonet. Once
you're on anonet, you can then use one of srn's proxies, ryuk's proxy,
or any other one that you can find. Since the proxy's operator only
knows your AnoNet IP and not your real IP, he cannot give your real IP
to his government even if he fully cooperates with their investigation.

If you want to join anonet, here is the urls:
http://www.anonet.org/
http://www.anonet2.org/ (this the one I use)

@ys: It seems to be once per day. It is either a new policy (that they did not care to mention in the front page) or because all their staff are watching the World Cup to keep the infrastructure up.

I too am looking for an alternative, is there anything like itshidden that you don't need to install some custom software?

Ya. free account will be kicked from system the every 20 minutes.
and i found that it is very hard to connect back in couple hours after that.

So, free user is very limited . and have very bad experience now.
Maybe they should let people know how long should free user wait between 2 dial-up.

From my experience, ItsHidden doesn't like free users.

First, they don't like answering questions from free users and then they add a note saying that there is no support for them.

Then they limit speed to 500 kpbs, then to 1 Mbps. NOW, they disconnect free accounts every 20 minutes. If their intention is to discourage free accounts but make them pay for paid accounts, it is unlikely they will succeed as once bitten, twice shy. I am not using their service any more.

Just spent (wasted) a couple of hours on ItsHidden - never seen a more AMATEUR site -actually being built and de-bugged at the same time as being sold to the market/us - i tried to register for a free try-out, and had to negotiate so many glitches in what should bea simple process - just doesn't feel 'ALL THERE' - and the privacy issue is a rel worry as pointrd out above. Must be many more better.

Too bad that ACEVPN has a 50GB per month restriction - if you are using cloud computing to back up your files you will easily go over that limit - does anyone know of a truly unlimited VPN?
