Online game is response to recent disclosure that Fry used BitTorrent to acquire an episode of the TV show.

T-Enterprise, a Glasgow-based design and development company known for making online games based on topical issues, has released a new one in response to the recent disclosure by renowned UK actor Stephen Fry that he had used BitTorrent to illegal download an episode of “House.”

In “Quantum of Torrents” Fry is under attack from the police as he tries to pick up illegal copies. Driving Fry’s iconic black cab, you have to avoid the law at all costs. You can shoot them with dictionaries to get them off your trail.

The game keeps dropping copies of the show on the ground in front of you and it is your responsibility to make sure that you pick up all the evidence of your crime or face the wrath of the long arm of the law. Use your dictionaries to keep them at bay because letting them get too close may end your pirating ways for good.

T-Enterprise’s Managing Director Sadia Chishti says: “When I heard about Stephen Fry’s admission of guilt about downloading illegally at the iTunes Festival I could not believe it! Especially not given the fact he was supposed to be speaking out about piracy in the industry!”

Fry certainly spoke out about piracy at the iTunes festival. He compared the RIAA to “big tobacco” and that “making examples of ordinary people is the stupidest thing the record industry can do.”

Chishti appreciates Fry’s honesty for being brave enough to admit he pirated something at a lecture on piracy.

“So he had downloaded the rest of the series legally but it seems that there is always the temptation to take the easy route,” she adds. “At least he has admitted it and not gone down the hypocritical one. What a refreshing change.”

It was a refreshing change indeed.

So play “Quantum of Torrent” for yourself and help Fry stay ahead of the copyright police.

Stay tuned.
