The story so far…
Albanel holds up the whole telecoms package in Brussels because HADOPI’s right to cut people off without trial is core to her law.
Albanel promises to resign if HADOPI is overturned.
Albanel then claims to be perfectly happy with an HADOPI which cannot cut people off without trial and therefore (on her planet) there is no reason for her to resign.
Remarkable!
PS – you heard it here first… the first disconnections will not happen this autumn.

Sarkozy demonstrating that he will do anything to suck up to big business and big money. To him it’s all about money, make no mistake about that. This law is soon to be irrelevant anyway – anonymous downloading is coming. The internet is and always will be about something many of these ancient politician farts just can’t understand – freedom.
