		<description>Wow, that&#039;s pretty spectacular.  We always knew that, to some degree, that lawmakers are pretty much directed by major corporations, but that&#039;s just rediculous.</description>

		<description>No rest for the weary. The Senate version of the same bill, SB 1004, will be heard in the NC Senate Commerce Committee Thursday morning at 8am. That&#039;s right. Three hours earlier than their normal meeting time. We&#039;ll be there, but the crowd will be smaller because no one knew about it. That is, except the cable company. When I called one of the lawmakers to confirm the time, the assistant handed the phone to an employee from Time Warner. I couldn&#039;t believe it.</description>
