BSG…yet another MISTAKE in re-making original and often better tv and/or movies!

The very same twitter fans and all fans of tv/movie remakes with ooh better special effects and ooh better looking women and ooh and ooh…imagine what they will be saying of BSG and the rest in 5, 10, or more years from now.

Better CGI for example, will never make up for superior, intelligent script writing, above average acting and actors and good direction. Prefer B-grade TV and movies, stick to the thousands of mindless video games.

The pilot shows that the series has a lot of directions it can take – all intriguing. Buy the DVD and check out the deleted scenes for some interesting twist!

@Tyndall I concur. I haven't seen the whole thing from start to finish, I skipped through it and saw bits and pieces, I got the impression it was a lot of boring, B-grade actors yapping about philosophical shit and making pompous asses out of themselves. Oh, and the girl gets put into a cylon body at the very end. :snooze:

I watched it, and found it to be fantastic… I thought the character work was great, particularly Joseph Adams/Adama… and Eric Stoltz as Greystone seemed to have a good edge and a twisted soul that makes his cylon creation understandable.

I saw the pilot. Quite possibly running for the worst tv show ever. Pathetic teeny bopper experience, i wish i could take my 1 hour and 32 minutes of my life back to wash the garbage bins and maybe mow my neighbours lawn.

One thing that stood out was the ridiculous racism towards “Taurans” who were in fact a hybrid of Mexicans/New Zealand Maori.

Man, this was an insult to BSG.

1/10. I gave that 1 because Graystone’s house looks pretty cool.

I don’t really care about this show. I have already seen the end of the last episode of BSG, so why would I want to know what went on before?

This kinda sounds like Star Trek “Enterprise” that was set BEFORE the original series took place. I know how bad THAT sucked also!

Probably won’t download or even WATCH this series. No point! I already know that it is going to be blown to bits in 50 years byu the cylons, so what is the point?

Maybe if it was about the caprica we see at the END of BSG where you were told they may have a different end other than the cylons blowing them up, I could understand watching it.

But this? Not really.
