A better question is why, when a large number of artist are against much of the legislation being passed around the world in the name of artist rights, that politicians keep passing these laws. The public that voted them in don’t want it, the artists don’t want them, the only people who want these laws are share holders and middle men. Sad when democracy can be bought out world wide, hopefully political uprising can occur in my lifetime to change the status quo of what we now call politics.

If I couldn’t use p2p what would be the point in broadband really? Iplayer could be a good use for BB except it keeps crashing (overloaded) and I can’t watch stuff when I like so I’ll never use that much until its free from DRM. Its the convenience of P2P that is really the key to its success, its far less about getting free stuff but god forbid we should let great ideas get in the way of profit right?
