i agree these degenerates will attempt to stop bittorrent but its widespread and everyone around the world is downloading from bittorrent so what are they gonna do sue the world. maybe we should get together and form a world wide law suit against these degenerates and we should have enough money to take them on. These corporate degenerates are looking for ways to make money based on lawsuits that are not credible as the information collated by them is not accurate, this has been proven time and time again. if we all get together chip in we can take them on and stop them from making goverments in legislating draconian laws that impede on our rights as world citizens. its our freedoms against there draconian money hungry methods that they falsely claim they have rights to protecting copyrights that ineffectually arent theres but rather belong to the artists.

I've always wondered about this, but could torrent software makers mandate in their terms of use that any user of the software only uploads content to which they have the rights, and by seeding grant those rights to all other users while connected to the swarm. Would this protect all subsequent users from lawsuits, since as far as they know, they have the right to distribute? Would this then shift the only blame to the initial seeder, protecting all other users?
