"With France having pioneered the “three-strikes” response system for file-sharers it’s odd to hear that South Korea had quickly jumped to the forefront of countries expected to have a plan take effect."

me thinks i smell a big rat. This might very well become "the Syria" for all file-sharers. Considering the level of p2p which emanates from South Korea this may the testing ground for the Western guns..just a thought.

It seems as though is still very much the wild west in the tubular interwebs. It is going to be very interesting to see how the inevitable clash of free information and control comes to be.

At least they rectified the length so it isn't an outright ban from the internet. 6 months is much more appropriate than an outright ban. Their old proposal was treating file sharing as if it was child porn. Its still not the right solution to the problem in my opinion, that is if file sharing even is a problem.
