I tried it and I think you’d be better off with a P2P program. The interface isn’t very responsive and there aren’t very many results

Of course but if u need an alternative at LOCATIONS WHERE U CANT RUN A P2P PROGRAM for whatever reason then its worth a try. I mean what beats an OINK / AZUREUS combo? Squat. But if your network throttles your speeds or is on the lookout for BT users what is one to use? This is a decent alternative.

I used to download tracks from the web a lot before I used P2P with the Lycos search engine. That is one thing about the web easy and there was nothing to configure or share which is important on dial-up.

I think this is probably just as illegal as the files you’d find on p2p. So you are really not safe from the media mafia.

The difference being you’re leeching the files nost hosting/uploading. So far I don’t know of anyone getting in trouble for simply downloading its all been for uploading.

A friend of mine can’t figure out how to use bittorrent (azureus) its just too complicated compared to kazaa and limewire. I may have him try this.

Another similar program is this website: http://espew.com/ it was listed on zp a long time ago (back when I used to actually post here). No downloading and it has a media player built into the site if you choose to not download it.

BTWa nd yes its UPLOADING the DISTRIBUTION OF SONGS that gets you in trouble. With clickster u dont have to worry about that.
