By Big Guns I mean the 60 Minutes Dateline NBC and 20/20s--even her royal highness--Queen Oprah of the world going to investigate such matters? Honestly I think the days of an unbiased media that would investigate such events are gone. Personally I lost all respect for Mike Wallace and company(and that includes 48 hours/Nightline/All of NBCs investigative programs) when they didn't jump on the issue of misrepresentation and out right lies of the Bush Adminstration for starting an illegal war but at the very least you'd think they would be knowledgeable of the tactics of the RIAA and their international counterparts. Afterall in this case they would be investigating something coporate so they would not have to worry about being "unpatirotic" or compromising national security or whatever rationalization they give for looking the other way in political matters. But that brings me back to my initial question. When are they going to acknowledge that there is serious problem with the abuse and misuse of the legal system by the RIAA. It's all well and good for web sites to perform this task but it won't really be taken seriously until some mainstream TV program points it out; of course this is just my personal opinion. Getting guys like this old grandma's and little children that were victims come on her show and tell their story. The rest of the news media would jump on the RIAA and they would be run out of town by a large angry mob. It would be worse for them then rootkits were for Sony.
