There's a ingenious new site called OscarTorrents that conveniently links to all of this year's Oscar nominees as well as incorporates a voting system so that users can vote for their picks in each category.

It lists each nominee by category and then provides their associated link on the pubic tracker site that contains the appropriate torrent.

After you've viewed each nominee you're encouraged to vote for whom you think best deserves to win an Oscar in that category.

Once you've watched a film, you can vote on it -- but please, do watch before you vote! On Oscars night, we'll post your results right along with the 'official' ones. Of course this is the way it should be done now that movie distribution is almost free. Hollywoodland might not like it, but some people always have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the future.
