I still do not think that the “powers that be” will allow them to set up a government just to thumb it’s nose at copyright law. It would be nice….but I just do not see them making it a reality.

What is to stop them from becomming “invaded” by an army whose strings are being pulled by corporations….????

At was a REALLY wacky idea at first Sealand but now it is beginning to mature and take shape into something that could really happen. I think that the nation won’t be designed purely for anti-copyright reasons like Sealand was this one will have a real government ethical system and economy making it’s chances of success in the developed world greater.

and perhaps have more reasonable or palatable intellectual property freedoms akin to European countries like Sweden or the Netherlands.

or more succinctly finding a location near a country like Venezuela who love nothing more to thumb their nose at the US may be a possibility as well.
