Let me tell you a little about the Sanyo Easy Street NVM-4070 now. It has more features and really takes the high end of the spectrum with the GPS models Sanyo has released. It shares the same viewable size screen with a 4″ LCD display and the convenience of having a touch screen.
Some additions are the GPS alerts that it’s capable of. The NVM-4070 is equipped to receive data from the Traffic Message Channel, which reports accidents, road construction and other incidents that can affect traffic. The NVM-4070 graphically displays those incidents as icons on the navigation map for you to see so that during travels you can plan around them if needed or re-route your trip.
Do you have a Bluetooth enabled phone? The NVM-5070 will allow you to enjoy hands free calling using Bluetooth technology. This equips you, as the driver, to utilize the GPS on business trips or for leisure. It also allows you to play MP3 and WMA files when it’s not helping you find your way around the city streets. With more features in addition to those mentioned above, the NVM-4070 really is ahead of other models Sanyo has released.
You can view JPG files and share them with others on the display. Using the touch screen you can also watch MPEG/Divx movies with 4070’s built-in Video Player. A convenient memory card slot lets users store multimedia files on SD or MMC memory cards. Taking a vacation? Have the pleasure of taking tons of photos, finding your way back to your lodging and then be able to share the videos or pictures immediately with others using this device.
Utilizing the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) puts this device way ahead of the NVM-4050 for most users. It works to get you to your location with better accuracy than most devices can achieve. How does it work? WAAS is comprised of satellites and ground stations that provide corrections to GPS signals for greater accuracy. They have found that, compared to other devices, the WAAS certainly does a better job and will probably be found in many newer devices.
The Easy Street NVM-4070 doesn’t stop there with features. You can add up to 500 contacts to the device for easy hands-free calling via your Bluetooth enabled phone and easy organization while driving safely. You can also listen to FM radio through the device if you run out of MP3 choices.
