Fujifilm’s FinePix S6500fd incorporates face-detection technology and 6.3 megapixel shots to bring you a top of the line camera that any amateur photographer could use. The face-detection is touted as being super fast compared to other cameras that work with this technology and the fact that the camera can tell the difference between landscapes and portraits (faces) is a plus when learning to take shots.
The Fujifilm site will give you a 3D model to toy with so you can check out the design of this model. The lens is a Fujinon 10.7 X zoom lens , F 2.8 – 4.9 and the lens focal length is f=6.2-66.7mm Equivalent to 28 – 300 mm on a 35 mm camera for you photography buffs.
Shutter speed in digital cameras has increased to a level for fast moving shots and is getting much easier to work with than the older digital camera models I used to use. This camera’s shutter speed comes in at 30 sec. to 1 / 4000 sec.
