Hello all. I’ve been fighting with FineTune since last year, when they had to shut out everyone not in the U.S.A., due to the passage of a new copyright law. Booo! This after the world made them the most popular steaming site ever. Good news: Unlike Pandora, they didn’t slam the door shut, just took away our ability to modify any existing playlists. Still, I put a lot of time & energy into building my 12 playlists, so when the site started to go “wonky” again in January, I got mad. It seems you have to download a desktop player to hear your music now, which I’ve done, but it begs the question: What next? They’re making the site so NOT user-friendly that it makes me wonder why they bother. I’m trying to figure out how to “capture” my music before it becomes totally unaccessible. I can’t afford the ~$1000 it would cost me to buy every single song! In the meantime, I’m also going to check out some of the other sites mentioned here. Wish me luck. *sigh* Thanks for listening.

Sorry folks, but Finetune has changed their website. I have a 176 song playlist that I created late last year. Just in the last couple of weeks, i can no longer add songs to or edit my playlist and all I get are 30 second clips. Maybe the Music Industry reared it’s greedy ugly head once again and put a stop to another great music site? I know I will miss Finetune now that it is all about buying the music just to hear the full song.
