Will using BitTorrent harm my computer, and if so and under what conditions will it?
BitTorrent itself is highly unlikely to harm your computer.
However what you download using BitTorrent – well, that’s a different story. Some caution is called for.
And I know some of you are asking … “what’s a BitTorrent?”
I always worried about viruses hiding in files etc and that kind of thing. And there’s always that thing where the file is intentionally faked or corrupted in some way or trackable. (That happened to a friend of mine once.)
im sure the intensive hard drive useage required by BT at high speeds and over time (plus degragmenting thoes files) will age your hard drive alot quicker than normal..
