ok the one change thing is ridiculous I can deal with the others but if drop mucho cash for vista ultimate I Want to be able to reinstall and change systems as often as I please

You would think with how cheap macs have gotten microsoft would be trying harder to lock people into their operating system.

unfortunatly m$ alienates the basic user because of a few pirates. the ones who pirate are not going to suddenly turn around and say actually 500quid for an OS is quite a fair price. mac and linux are gonna have a field day. on a side note vista new gui is nothing special its like installing windowblinds.

They can keep this rubbish as far as I am concerned– unless it is hacked I would never purchase it.

I’m with you all I will stick with XP for ages if I have to. And ajurna makes a good point…that the OS is like installing WindowBlinds. I have heard that more often lately since others are trying it. Makes you wonder just how many “improvements” are being made in comparison to how many “security walls” are being pushed on us with this OS. Maybe they feel XP doesn’t give them enough information about their users so they come out with a new OS that will send information to them and “keep in touch”. XP came close to this…why not?
