A man from Hays is getting personal attention from the record labels of his favorite pop music artists: Eminem, Korn, Jennifer Lopez, The Eagles….
A federal lawsuit, however, is not exactly the kind of recognition most fans would want, and that’s what Jhonnatan Gonzalez is facing in Wichita.
The Recording Industry Association of America claims that Gonzalez enjoyed those artists, and others, so much he shared them with people on the Internet in violation of copyright laws.
The lawsuit, brought by the RIAA on behalf of seven record labels, is one of dozens across the country targeting people trading music through peer-to-peer file-sharing services such as LimeWire.
